Our goal is to educate members of society, including those working in public systems and political entities. Current research establishing alcoholism and drug addiction as a disease will ultimately eliminate the stigma attached to this chronic illness. This is important because funding for treatment is often attached to the views legislatures and others believe about alcoholism and drug addiction.
